The most significant trade fair
As a general contractor, we supply turnkey coating systems worldwide. For us, PaintExpo is not only the most important trade fair but also the only one where we exhibit. We can meet our customers here, and it is an excellent place for acquiring new business. It was very busy at our stand. Many visitors came to us with specific projects. Some even brought components to show us so they could explain exactly what they were looking for. We were very satisfied with both the quantity and quality of the attendees. What's more, we were also able to welcome numerous international guests to the stand, mostly from Europe but also from the USA and India. We will definitely be back for the next edition of PaintExpo.

PaintExpo is the place to be
For us, PaintExpo is the place to be. This is where we can generate new customer contacts and have interesting technical conversations. We are able to inspire visitors with our wet coatings and effects, and sometimes they come to us with new ideas. We then provide the customer with support all the way from the initial idea to the finished product. A real highlight at PaintExpo was the launch of our new Trend Colors collection with a fantastic response. Attendees were thrilled by our wide range of paints for the automobile, medical, watchmaking and jewellery industries as well as for applications in sport and leisure. To finish up, we would like to say a big thank you to the organisation team at PaintExpo.

Our comeback as an exhibitor
As a company, we focus strongly on digital formats, and in 2022 we didn't exhibit at PaintExpo. However, I attended the event as a visitor and decided there and then that we should return here as an exhibitor. We are now sure it was very much the right decision for our company to exhibit here again. We were able to welcome so many visitors to our stand, particularly those from our main markets. I really must emphasise that the quality of the attendees was particularly high. At PaintExpo, we had the opportunity to meet numerous business partners in person, nurture customer relations and also make new contacts to help to continue expanding our presence in the relevant growth markets.

Plenty of interesting new contacts
We have been exhibiting at PaintExpo for years and were there this year for the first time with the KANSAI HELIOS Group, one of the world's leading coating corporations. There is tremendous interest in our company and we are very satisfied with the way the trade fair went. The advantage of PaintExpo is that it focuses on the entire process chain in industrial coating. At this trade fair, we not only have the opportunity to chat with our most important customers but also to make plenty of interesting new contacts. What's more, numerous international visitors came to our stand, especially from other European countries. That was exactly what we had hoped for, because most of our customers are from Europe.

The best day ever at a trade fair
One of our employees who joined us had 25 years of trade fair experience – and he said that the second day of PaintExpo was the best he'd ever experienced. My colleagues from different countries spent a lot of time conversing with trade fair visitors in their respective national languages. That goes to show how international PaintExpo is. The quality of the technical discussions we had with the many guests was also excellent.

High expectations before the event
Even before PaintExpo got started, the tremendous interest among the visitors was palpable. The dynamics this year were intense – really different from last year. We were able to exchange ideas with a lot of visitors, and the quality of the conversations was excellent. As a system coatings specialist and manufacturer, we meet with customers from a wide range of industries when we come to PaintExpo. We have been exhibiting here since the inaugural edition of PaintExpo and were one of the first companies to take part. This is the most important industry get-together for us because of the strong focus on direct customer contact.

The entire industry in one place
PaintExpo has shown that the trade fair landscape is very dynamic and lively. The entire industry comes together here in one place. Over half of the visitors to our stand were international. They travelled from many corners of the world - for example from Brazil, Malaysia, Japan and even New Zealand. PaintExpo offers excellent opportunities to make new contacts and initiate business. Networking is very important here. Participation in the trade fair was very successful for Nordson. We are very happy to be back at PaintExpo.

A positive mood
The past year posed considerable challenges for our industry, and we had to postpone quite a few projects or abandon them altogether. We've seen signs of recovery since the middle of the first quarter of 2024, however, and investments in sustainable technologies and innovative automation solutions are clearly gaining momentum. I could sense that positive development at PaintExpo too, where a lot of interested parties and existing customers explored the latest developments in those areas. I'm convinced that a wealth of fascinating projects and state-of-the-art facilities will emerge from these discussions and am feeling good about how the rest of the year will go. What makes PaintExpo particularly special is that nearly all the players in the market have come here to present their products. This trade fair gives potential customers a comprehensive overview of everything they need to operate a coating system. A particularly attractive feature of the trade fair is the mix of world market leaders and smaller companies. For us, PaintExpo provides an excellent opportunity to acquire new customers as well as to strengthen and consolidate our existing customer relationships. This year we have particularly focused on the automation and simplification of coating processes. We are already looking forward to the next edition of PaintExpo and have made a firm decision to exhibit here again.

Targeted trade fair concept
PaintExpo is a must-attend event for Sherwin-Williams. That is why we choose PaintExpo to promote our state of the art new colors collections Vision 2030 and Powdura ECO. We are very satisfied with how the trade fair went and we were pleasantly surprised by the number of visitors to our stand. We were able to make numerous new contacts, especially from Europe. PaintExpo is very focused, that is very special about the event. Industrial coating technology family reunion
PaintExpo is the most important trade fair in our automotive and general industry divisions. This is where the industry can get together, and it is like a family reunion for everyone working in industrial coating. We are very satisfied with the 2024 edition of PaintExpo. So many visitors came to our stand. Our staff were busy talking to existing and new customers the whole time. PaintExpo was also more international this year. For us, customer contacts from other European countries are especially important, and we can maximise this at PaintExpo.

From Argentina to Japan
PaintExpo is the most important trade fair in Europe for WAGNER's industrial sector, and we are very satisfied with how it went. Our stand was very busy from the moment the doors opened. Half the visitors we welcomed were from outside Germany. From Argentina to Japan – they came from all over the world. As a global corporation, that was especially important for us. We also presented numerous product innovations that are true game changers. Visitors were particularly interested in our new Flowsense technology. It is the only solution on the market that measures the amount of powder used in grammes per minute and regulates it consistently. What's more, the visitors who came to the trade fair were very well informed. This meant we could discuss countless specific projects at PaintExpo and we also signed business contracts here.
